The holidays are just around the corner, and I couldn’t be more excited! New York City is a magical place during this time of year, with so many things to see and do. In this blog post, I’ll share with you three of my favorite things to do in New York over the holidays.
First on my list is visiting the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. Every year, a giant Christmas tree is illuminated in Rockefeller Center, and it’s a sight to behold. The tree is decorated with thousands of lights and ornaments, and it stands as a symbol of the holiday spirit in the city. Taking a stroll around the ice rink, admiring the beautiful lights, and sipping on a hot cocoa while looking at the tree is an experience I look forward to every year.
Another one of my favorite things to do is going to a Broadway show. The holiday season is the perfect time to catch a performance, and there are always plenty of great options. Whether it’s a classic like “The Nutcracker” or a new musical, there’s nothing like the energy and excitement of a Broadway show. It’s a great way to get into the holiday spirit and enjoy some world-class entertainment.
Last but not least, I love going to the Museum of Natural History’s holiday lights display. The museum is transformed into a winter wonderland with beautiful lights and decorations. Walking through the exhibits while surrounded by the twinkling lights is a magical experience, and it’s a great activity to do with family or friends. Plus, it’s a great way to escape the cold and enjoy some indoor fun.
As the days count down to the holidays, I’m looking forward to doing these three things and creating more memories in New York. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, I hope you’ll take the time to explore all that the city has to offer during this special time of year. From the lights and decorations to the shows and events, there’s something for everyone in New York over the holidays.
